What is LiveShareIt?

LiveShareIt is a browser-based collaboration workspace. Opening liveshareit.com followed by any name creates a room containing a live text editor, file sharing, an infinite whiteboard, AI diagramming, group voting and video calls. Everything in the room is shared through its URL, so collaborators join by opening a link — no account, download or invitation is required. Accounts are optional and exist to own rooms, raise limits and subscribe to a paid plan.

What you get in a room

  • AI Editor — a rich-text editor several people type in at once, with an AI assistant for summarising, rewriting and answering questions about the document
  • File sharing — upload, preview and download files beside the notes they belong to
  • AI Whiteboard — an infinite canvas with live cursors that can draw a diagram from a written description
  • AI Diagrams — PlantUML source with a live preview, generated from plain English
  • Group Decider — polls where everyone rates each option from 0 to 10, so preference strength is visible
  • Video calls — browser calls inside the room, with presence and live reactions

How it is different

Most tools solve one of these and expect you to stitch the rest together — a call in one tab, a document in another, files somewhere else. LiveShareIt puts them behind a single URL, so the conversation, the document and the files are the same place rather than three links you have to keep in sync. Nobody needs an account to take part.

Free to use without an account. Paid plans raise storage, upload size, AI usage, room size and call size.

  • Free — free: 1 GB storage, 5 people in a room, 50 AI requests a month.
  • Starter — $2.99 a month: 50 GB storage, 50 people in a room, 250 AI requests a month.
  • Pro — $6.49 a month: 250 GB storage, 5,000 people in a room, 1,000 AI requests a month.
  • Plus — $19.99 a month: 1000 GB storage, 10,000 people in a room, 10,000 AI requests a month.

What LiveShareIt is not

Room content is not end-to-end encrypted, so it is not suitable for material requiring zero-knowledge storage. Anyone holding a room link can open it unless the owner restricts the room. Calls are peer-to-peer and are not recorded. Free rooms are removed after 180 days without being opened. These are described in full under Privacy & security.
