Do recipients need an account?
Open rooms can be accessed through their link without an account. Owners can optionally restrict the audience to signed-in users.
What is the maximum upload size?
The configured Free limit is 50 MB per file and Pro supports up to 1 GB per file. Browser and network reliability still matter for large uploads.
Can people preview files?
Images, PDFs, text, audio and video can be previewed when their format is supported. Other files remain available for download.
Are files end-to-end encrypted?
No. Production traffic uses HTTPS, but stored room files are not currently end-to-end encrypted. Do not upload material that requires zero-knowledge storage.
